Frieze Seoul and Kiaf
The fair that moved the Asian art market, with the whole city programming around it
Frieze launched a Seoul edition in 2022 alongside the established Korean fair Kiaf, in the same building, on one ticket. Within two seasons the international galleries had opened Seoul branches and the September art week became the most significant in Asia.
The galleries of Hannam, Samcheong and Cheongdam extend their hours, the museums time their major shows to the week and the city stays open late.
