Latin America's largest art fair, and a week in which the whole city programmes against it
The fair itself fills a convention centre with around two hundred galleries, but the reason to come is what happens around it: every museum, gallery and project space in the city opens something in the same week, and half of it is free.
February is also the best month to be in Mexico City, dry and clear, which makes the art week the single best-value cultural trip in this guide.
