The year in thirty-two festivals
Festival Planner
Choose the months you can travel and the kind of thing you like. You get a shortlist with dates, prices and how far ahead to book.
Festivals fail for two reasons: the accommodation is gone or the tickets went on sale nine months ago. The planner shows both, so a shortlist is a plan rather than a wish.
Pick your possible months, your genres and a price ceiling. The result is a calendar strip you can share, with the booking deadline for each entry.
Questions
Are the dates exact?
They are the usual window. Most festivals move by a week or two each year and confirm about nine months ahead, which is also when you should be booking a bed.
Which festivals are free?
Eleven of the thirty-two are free to attend in some meaningful form. Tick the free filter to see only those.
