Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room, timed, briefly, and worth the queue

Eli and Edythe Broad built a museum for their own collection and opened it in 2015 with free admission as a permanent policy. Diller Scofidio and Renfro wrapped it in a perforated concrete honeycomb they call the veil, with the storage vault visible through windows in the middle of the building.

The collection is postwar and contemporary at blue-chip level: Basquiat, Koons, Sherman, Ruscha, Warhol and a Kusama infinity room with its own queue and a forty-five-second limit.
