Primavera Sound
A park by the sea, a line-up that ignores genre hierarchy and sets that run until six in the morning
Held in the Parc del Fòrum on the waterfront, Primavera built its reputation on booking across genres and generations without treating any of them as a novelty, and on a schedule that starts in the late afternoon and finishes at dawn.
The city programme around it fills the preceding days with free concerts across Barcelona, which effectively turns a three-day festival into a week.
