Rue des Lombards has three jazz clubs within eighty metres and this is the one with the best booking: French and American musicians, two sets most nights, a room of about a hundred and ten with the stage at floor level.
It has been running since 1984 and survived the renovation of the quarter around it, which killed a good deal else. The sound is properly engineered, which is not universal in rooms this size.
